Week 7

This week I have read from chapters 20 to 22.In chapter 20, Oliver is taken to the Sike's house and he is given with a book that illustrates some of the "Greatest" crimes that took place in the past. Upon the arrival at Sike's house Sike warns Oliver if that if he does anything that he will be killed. In chapter 21, it is portrayed the Oliver's journey with Sikes to the town that they are going to steal in.In Chapter 22 Sike and Oliver is finally into action and the some of his collaborators join. Later Oliver begs not to be part of this robbery however, Sikes tries to shoot Oliver and by mistake of his friend gun is fired and they are caught in the action. Oliver is shot and Sike abandons him and runs away.
I wonder in this story how the family in this new household will have impacts on Oilver's future. And What will happen to Oliver later, will he die? or will he be turned in to the police? I was also impressed by Oliver when he refused to take a part in this crime because if I was him I would have been scared to death and followed his instrutions

Week 6

/pThis week i have read from chapters 17 to 19. Chapter 19 was when Oliver was lost and when Brownlow looks for people who has information about Oliver, Mr. Bumble finds out about it. Mr.Bumble tells Mr.Brownlow about all these bad stuff and Brownlow buys it. However, Mrs. Bedwin doesn't believe it. In chapter 18, Fagin keeps Oliver all by himself in a room and from time to time sends in boys to get him involved in pickpocketing, but it does not work. In chapter 19 Sikes needs small boy for the new job that he is doing, therefore Fagin lends Oliver for it and Sikes warns to Oilver that if he does anything he will kill him.
I wonder what would happen while Oliver is helping out Sikes, whether he can be rescued from those criminals once again or he will continue with is life as a pickpocket. Furthermore, it makes me wonder what would happen to Mr.Bumble and what kinds of bigger roles he would play through out the story because, author would not have just put, Mr. Bumble there for nothing.

Week 5

This week I have read from chapters 15 to 16 In chapter 15, Oliver accidentally enters the wrong way. Nancy all of a sudden appears and acts as if she is his sister and tells others that she is taking him home. Oliver insists that he is a orphan, but nobody believes. Even worse, Sikes appears and tells Oliver to go home with Nancy. So Oliver ends up following Nancy "Home". In Chapter 16, Oliver arrives at some house and there, Sikes, Fagin, Dodger and Charlie is waiting. Charlie and Dodger makes fun of the luxurious clothes that he is wearing. Oliver starts asking people for help but soon Sikes has dogs unleashed on them. Nancy tries to defend Oliver and Sikes grows mad. They take away, Oliver's belongings and put him into his room.t
In this chapter, my curiosity towards what is the relationships between Oliver and Nancy is going to be like. Because as the story goes on, Nancy is trying to protect Oliver more and more and tries to keep Oliver out of life as pickpocket or burgler.
